These new employee engagement badges make FlashLet a friendly internal competition and continue upon the mission statement of the product to deliver actionable insights and accountability across both teams and entire organizations. The e-mail is sent weekly displaying the names of team members under the following categories: The Gunslinger, The Snail and The Ghost. User history is also accessible to see who fell under each category each week.
So - what do these badges mean exactly?
- The Gunslinger: This person is on the ball, actively engaged and giving consistent updates and feedback of their efforts the second they get your e-mail. They are the first to draw the gun and shoot. It might be good to reward them casually, but don't let those Gunslingers get too full of themselves or your entire team can be in danger.
- The Snail: This person has been responding at a slow and steady pace. They respond to your e-mails regularly but are often the last to reply each day or week (depending on your set frequency). It might be good to check in with them and make sure they are not too bogged up, out of sync and unavailable to communicate with other team members.
- The Ghost: Well, a bit self explanatory - the ghost is completely MIA. There are so many possibilities someone may have went ghost. It's up to you to be the ghostbuster. Were they on vacation this week? Are you sending e-mails at a bad time? Are they completely overloaded? Distracted? Are they not feeling valued? Have you received previous feedback from them you did nothing about?
